Terms & conditions.

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your date. A date is not held until that deposit clears. The remaining balance is due on or before the day of the session unless agreed otherwise in writing.

Quoted prices are starting rates. Final pricing depends on the scope of the session, any add-ons, and travel or studio fees where they apply.

If you need to move your date, tell us as early as you can and we will do our best to find an alternative. Deposits may be transferred to a new date once, subject to availability.

If you cancel, the deposit is not refundable, because it covers the date we held and turned away other work for. If we have to cancel for reasons within our control, you will receive a full refund of everything paid.

Outdoor sessions affected by severe weather will be rescheduled at no extra charge.

Session times begin at the scheduled start time. Late arrivals shorten the session rather than extend it, since later bookings depend on the schedule holding.

Additional time may be available on the day at our discretion and will be billed at the applicable hourly rate.

Final edited files are delivered through a private online gallery. The number of edited images included is set by your package. Additional edits are $15 each.

We deliver edited work only. Unedited files, RAW files and outtakes are not released. Galleries are hosted for a limited period, so please download and back up your files promptly.

M.Ō.D. Photography retains copyright in all images and video produced, as provided by U.S. copyright law.

Clients receive a personal, non-exclusive licence to use, print and share their delivered files for personal purposes. Commercial use, meaning advertising, resale or licensing to a third party, requires a separate written agreement.

Please do not crop out watermarks, apply your own filters, or otherwise edit delivered files before publishing them. Credit to M.Ō.D. Photography is always appreciated when sharing online.

Unless you tell us otherwise in writing before the shoot, we may use images from your session in our portfolio, on this website and on our social media channels. If you would prefer your images stay private, just say so and we will honour it without any change to your rate.

Sessions outside our standard coverage area may incur a travel fee, quoted before booking. Any permits, venue fees or studio rental costs required for your chosen location are the client's responsibility unless we agree otherwise in writing.

In the unlikely event of equipment failure, illness, or another circumstance beyond our control that prevents delivery, our liability is limited to a refund of the amounts paid for the affected session. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Social media retainers are billed monthly in advance and can be cancelled with 30 days' written notice. Clients retain ownership of their accounts, brand assets and any content supplied to us. We are not responsible for the reach, engagement or algorithmic performance of any platform.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force at the time you book is the version that applies to your session.
