The studio
M.Ō.D. was founded in 2021 by Reginald Hough, a Maryland native who relocated to Charlotte after a career in event management and marketing. What began as a way to showcase his own work has become a studio built on bringing people together.
Most people have never been photographed properly, so the job is not just pressing a shutter. You get coached through posing, angles and expression the whole way through, which is why first-timers keep saying the session felt relaxed rather than awkward.

We had an excellent experience working with our photographer! This was our second time using Reggie for our special occasion and once again he knocked it out the park! This time around he provided photography for both our ministry and my wife’s 50th birthday celebration, and we were extremely pleased with the results. Reggie was professional, patient, creative, and very easy to work with. He did a great job capturing not only beautiful images, but also the spirit and significance of both occasions. Mini sessions start at $185 for 30 minutes and 5 edited photos. Full sessions start at $275 for one hour, two outfits and 10 edited photos, and Extended sessions are $375 for 1.5 hours, two outfits, two locations and 15 edited photos. Wedding coverage starts at $550 for an elopement and $1,400 for a standard 2–4 hour day. Event photography is $100 per hour.
